The Windsong Flock
While this is only a small sampling of our flock members, they represent the consistent qualities
of Windsong breeding. Four of these birds have been critical to the foundation of Windsong Aviary
and the establishment of style, size, conformation quality and wonderful temperaments.
We would like to thank the talented breeders of these four birds: Phil Feret, consummate cockatiel
breeder and exhibitor, for breeding a lusciously fancy lutino hen we call 'Luminesca' and breeding and
selling us 'Venus', an exquisitely beautiful, large and correct foundation hen for Windsong Aviary.
We purchased Venus as a youngster and showed her to her Grand Championship and her
2005 National Champion BIS win; Julia Allen, for breeding 'Dallas,' a striking and fancy cock who is helping us secure a consistent gene pool of elegance and remarkable style in our aviary; and Linda Greeson, for breeding and selling us the foundation cock, 'Titan,' a phenomenal stud who has given us size, substance, expressive heads and eyes and outstanding conformation.
Without foundation birds from these talented breeders, we could not have done this. Thank you!
